This year the beer of the pink elephant also sets up an action for the good cause: per hectolitre brewed Deliria brewery Huyghe donates 10 Euro to Think Pink, which results in a nice sum of 4500 Euro! Think Pink wants to raise awareness among the general public about breast cancer and to raise funds for fundamental scientific research into breast cancer. In the brewing group there a number of ladies who are currently being treated for breast cancer or who have overcome the disease, and with this they add extra strength to the action.
In the afternoon another Beer & Food tasting session took place, during which different Huyghe beers could be discovered in an inspiring way and different ways, accompanied or not with a gourmet snack. The ladies also went to make beer cocktails under the supervision of experts and experienced how well beer and chocolate 'blended'.
On International Women's Day - 8 March 2019 - the new Deliria will be launched on the market, in the presence of a number of the brewers.Naar overzicht
