Brewey Huyghe, who became world famous when the beer Delirium Tremens won the title “Best beer of the World” (in 1998), recently was informed that the beer Floris Mango won a Gold Medal at the Hong Kong International Beer Awards 2011. And at the international beer competition BIRA 2011, which took place in Tel-Aviv (Israel), Huyghe did even better: the Belgian brewer won no less than 3 gold medals for respectively Delirium Tremens, Floris Mango and Mongozo Pilsener (Double Gold).
And finally, Delirium Tremens won a silver medal and La Guillotine a bronze one, both in the category ‘Belgium Triple’, at the International Beer Competition 2011 taking place in Japan (Yokohama) in September.
